Description
Quadrangular body raised on four tapering supports and flanked by two tall vertical handles curving outward. The structure, of strong sculptural and monumental presence, is entirely covered in a vibrant sancai polychrome glaze dominated by turquoise and green tones with ochre-yellow highlights. The upper register is decorated with a continuous geometric meander frieze, beneath which runs a relief-decorated band featuring stylised floral elements and fluted motifs. The main body is enriched with broad moulded reserves composed of scrolling vegetal ornament and a large central flower in relief, rendered in contrasting colours.
