The structure consists of a central body that houses three central drawers, a single drawer at the base, which can be pulled out as a single compartment, and a fixed one at the top. The projecting lid has the shape of a truncated, low pyramid, and inside it, there is a usable space. The foldable door may have served as a writing surface. The structure features architectural elements reminiscent of Palladian architecture, particularly the façades of Venetian palaces and villas; four columns on the front divide the space into three sections.
