Description
Of ovoid form with domed covers, the vases are entirely decorated with a honeycomb ground composed of a dense polychrome geometric pattern. Against this richly ornamented background unfolds a spectacular moulded relief decoration featuring sinuous branches with leaves, flowers, and applied fruits, including pomegranates, peaches, and "Buddha’s Hand" citrons. The lower section is encircled by an emerald green geometric border, while the rims of the covers are embellished with an elegant iron red key fret band.
