Description
Of baluster form, with a short neck, gently sloping shoulder and slightly flared base, each vase fitted with a domed cover surmounted by a knop finial. The entire surface is decorated in iron red with an elaborate continuous design composed of stylised leafy scrolls and intertwined volutes enclosing reserves with lotus flowers, chrysanthemums and ornamental floral motifs. The same decorative scheme is repeated on the covers, creating a harmonious continuity with the ornamental repertoire of the body.
