Description
A George III sterling silver salver, John Parker & Edward Wakelin, London, 1775
Neoclassical design typical of the late 18th century, featuring clean lines, a geometric form, and elegant yet restrained ornamentation. The edge is shaped with a gadroon border. Supported by three double-scroll feet, gracefully sculpted and rounded. Commemorative inscription "The Peter Hamer Memorial Trophy" engraved within a circular border of braided pattern.
