Portrait frontispiece and fine engraved plates on separate leaves, protected by tissue guards, by T. Johannot. Contemporary full red morocco binding, spine with raised bands richly gilt and titles on a label; covers framed by a double gilt fillet and bearing the coat of arms of Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Prince Consort (born 1819), consort of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
