Contemporary full vellum bindings, spines lettered in gilt, sprinkled edges, green silk markers. An important periodical collection of scientific and literary character, among the most significant of its kind in Italy, issued over a span of more than fifteen years. The work gathers essays, memoirs, and dissertations drawn from the principal European academies and from manuscript sources, offering a broad survey of contemporary knowledge in the fields of physics, natural history, medicine, technology, and the humanities.
