Solid and elegant binding in full stiff parchment, ribbed spine. Second Viotti edition, published a few months after the first. A good copy (foxing and browning, restoration to the hinges and some pages, drawings on page 244). Octavo pages: title page, dedication to Alessandro Farnese, Prince of Parma and Piacenza, text To the Readers by Erasmo Viotti, Jerusalem Delivered by Mr. Torquato Tasso, graceful and charming styles, the epithets of the poem, index of the entire work.
